Holy crap that was quick!! Didn't I only just request this earlier this week?! (or am I mixing you up with someone else? )
Not that it matters, though, because OMFGjrfgjr it turned out amazing!!
First of all, your coloring is amazing. I love how you shade each strand individually instead of just a chunk of hair here and there like I tend to do. I'm guessing your way must take a LOT longer, but I really do think it's worth it for how it turned out in the end. I really hope I can learn how to do that, someday! And I'd almost say her eyes are even more beautiful because of how complex they are, but at the same time so cute and innocent. It fits my character so well, too, that it's like an added bonus
And her pose and expression are really adorable as well, how did you know strawberry was her favorite? (Lucky guess? XDD)
Have you ever done/thought of doing tutorials, BTW? I wanna know your secreeeeets~
Thanks again times, like a million (and sorry for practically spazzing in your face, I just got so excited I had to let it all out )
I draw kinda fast (even if I say it myself...) plus you were the first on my list xD About the art, thank for so much praises ;u; I don't have a lot secrets actually xD I just do what I feel like to \(*o* ) but here some tips:
- draw each stroke hair individually. I always do that since I found out the hair looks too 'flat' without additional strokes. It takes longer to do, but soon you get used, it gets easier.
- About the eyes... I often look at other's works then I 'copy' to my own style. Experiment to find out what fits xD
- The pose was... hmm I dunno xD This is what came up on my mind (~^.^)~ Try different poses so each of your drawing look more special (ofcourse they are special already *o*) If you never try something new, you wont learn something new either.
- I thought pink icecream fits better XD About colors: It took me a while to pick the right colors... (did you see my 'draw again meme'? I was terrinle in 2011... anyway, practice with it c:
Finally: It was a pleasure drawing her
p.s check my gallery for a coloring tutorial. I did make one a few months ago. It's a bit outdated but maybe it could help you with the basics ^_^
