First encounter

I've seen many fanarts of Onmyoji around. The characters are so likable, so I want to draw one of them too.
The story of Mannendake captured me first. I wanted to draw interior and nature at the same time. What if the paintings came to life? 
I hope the shadow doesn't count as second character, but just a gesture.
